1980 - Vintage Sock Monkey

One of our customers sent us this photo of a monkey made by her Great Grandmother.

"My great-grandmother (b. 1899, Kentucky) made me this sock monkey around
1980, about when I was six years old. She did lots of home crafts and sock
monkeys were a common fixture in her household. Note that she pegged the
tips of the arms and tail to the monkey's body for a jaunty stance."
